Arlington Heart & Soul started as a grant process in July 2022 and formally concluded the Community Heart & Soul process at the end of 2025. At that time Arlington Heart & Soul received 501c3 status and continue to include everyone, focus on what matters most, and play the long game.

The role of Arlington Heart & Soul is not to do everything for everyone, in fact it is the opposite! Our mission is to support the organizations that already make our community strong while providing data to those that want to make a difference. Sometimes that might mean our organization does the work ourselves, but more often than not it means we support our community – with data, with volunteers, and even financially.
